Hello I’m Joanne, owner of The Chic Cake Boutique.

I first discovered my passion for cake decorating while on work experience as a trainee chef in The Green Door café in Cork.

In 2006 I decided to concentrate on my pastry skills and received a Bachelor of Arts in Culinary Arts with Distinction from GMIT.

Now I make wedding cakes from my HSE registered kitchen. I am fully insured and hold up to date hygiene certification.

I live in Co. Limerick with my husband and two kids. I got married in 2007, I have been through all the same planning and decisions that you’re going through right now. I understand how stressful planning a wedding can be and this is why I like to make the cake ordering process as simple as possible for you.

From start to finish I’ll be on hand to answer any question you have about ordering a cake from me. I am always available via email and I love hearing about all your plans! I like to work closely with my couples to really get to know you and understand your visions so that I can really create you something spectacular for your big day.
