Flash Box
A hand-drawn portrait booth inspired by the nostalgia of vintage photobooths.
Galway, Ireland
About Flash Box
Flash Box isn't an analog photobooth in the traditional chemical-development sense. It's an artist, Marie Cazou, inside a custom-built booth who hand-draws a live caricature portrait of you. The whole experience is designed to mimic an old-school photobooth: you insert a token, pose, wait a few minutes, and a unique portrait comes out of the slot instead of a photo strip.
It's essentially:
🎞️ The nostalgia and interaction of a vintage photobooth. ✍️ A hand-drawn portrait created in 3–5 minutes. 🎉 A pop-up attraction for weddings, festivals, corporate events, and private parties across Ireland.
So while it has a strong analog feel, it's actually a live performance and illustration experience rather than a photographic booth.
“We had Marie at our wedding doing caricature artwork with Flash Box, and it was such a hit! Everyone loved it and was talking about it all evening. It was a great addition to our reception, and Marie was brilliant to deal with, very professional and easy from start to finish. We’d definitely recommend her.”
