About Mount Falcon
Some places host weddings. Others seem to have been waiting for them. Our story began with a love story of its own. Built by Utred Knox to win the hand of Agnes Knox in marriage and completed in 1876, this magnificent country house was once the most modern home in Ireland. Today, its original floors, intricate woodwork and glowing fireplaces remain beautifully intact, holding 150 years of stories within their walls. From the moment you sweep through the gates and along the winding driveway, the outside world seems to disappear. Welcome to your wedding bubble: 100 acres of mature woodland, manicured lawns, walking trails and a private lake, with the River Moy flowing nearby. For a little while, it feels as though this entire world belongs only to you and the people you love most. Fill your stay with clay pigeon shooting, fishing, falconry, spa time, afternoon tea, delicious dining and long, laughter-filled evenings at the bar — or simply disappear together for a while. For generations, couples have added their own love stories to ours. Perhaps the next one will be yours.

Couples get exclusive use of our 32 bedroom, country house hotel, access to our 100 acres of woodland, lakes and lawns, an inclusive wedding package and a whole host of activities available on site. With a stunning spa & pool/gym, take a break and unwind before or after the party, get out on the driving range, or over to our other range for some clay pigeon shooting, and work up an appetite before dining in our rustic, Kitchen Restaurant. Learn a new skill and head out with our gilly Michael for some fishing on our private stretch of the River Moy. We also offer an interactive birds of prey, or hawk walk experience, with a stunning array of hawks, owls and other birds that call Mount Falcon home.

"Mount Falcon was the most incredible venue for our wedding, it truly captures the beauty of Ireland’s landscapes. The grounds and surroundings are simply breath taking, offering the perfect backdrop for such a special occasion.
From the very beginning, the whole process with Mount Falcon was amazing, but the wedding day itself exceeded all expectations. The staff were exceptional, attentive, professional, and genuinely caring. We had such a personal touch from everyone, especially Sergio, who went above and beyond to cater for us and ensure everything ran seamlessly. We can't wait to go back and visit them both!
