About Rachel O’Hora Celebrant
Hi, I’m Rachel, very proudly Mayo-born, but living in the big shmoke for almost 25 years. I’m a Entheos-trained non-denominational celebrant and solemniser. I’m also a teacher, and recently earned a qualification in inclusive and special needs education; my heart has always lain in inclusion and equity for all. I am a double-organ transplant recipient, so organ donation and transplantation are also close to my heart. My long-term goal is to become the go-to celebrant for anyone connected to the organ donation world. I love languages; tá Gaeilge agam, e eu falo um puoco de português. I can commonly be found drinking tea (strong, drop of milk, no sugar!), reading and listening to music (my other big passion).

My ceremony fee is €550.
As I am a teacher, I am only available for weekend dates during the secondary school year. The dates of the school holidays for:
2026-27:
October Mid-Term: Monday, 26 October 2026 to Friday, 30 October 2026.
Christmas Holidays: Schools close Tuesday, 22 December 2026 and reopen Wednesday, 6 January 2027.
February Bank Holiday: Monday, 1 February 2027 (St. Brigid's Day).
February Mid-Term (Post-Primary): Monday, 15 February 2027 to Friday, 19 February 2027.
St. Patrick's Day: Wednesday, 17 March 2027.
Easter Holidays: Schools close Friday, 19 March 2027 and reopen Monday, 5 April 2027.
May Bank Holiday: Monday, 3 May 2027.
June Bank Holiday: Monday, 7 June 2027.
Summer Holidays: Begin Tuesday, 8th June 2027 and last until mid-late August, date TBC.
2027/2028
October 2027 Mid-Term Break: Schools close from Monday, 25 October 2027, to Friday, 29 October 2027 inclusive.
Christmas 2027/2028: Schools close on Wednesday, 22 December 2027, and re-open on Thursday, 6 January 2028.
February 2028 Mid-Term Break: Closed for the week from Monday, 21 February to Friday, 25 February 2028 inclusive.
Easter 2028: Schools close on Friday, 7 April 2028, and re-open on Monday, 24 April 2028.
