About Roxy Weddings
Roxy Weddings is a documentary-style wedding videography business based in County Kerry, capturing genuine moments rather than staged ones. Filmmaker&Cinematographer Emi Laguna works discreetly throughout the day, building real rapport with couples so the camera fades into the background and what's left is honest storytelling.
Each film is shaped around the story of the day itself: the nerves before the ceremony, the vows, the speeches, and the small unscripted moments between family and friends. Audio and emotion matter as much as visuals, so films weave together natural conversation, laughter and tears alongside cinematic shots and, weather permitting, aerial drone footage.
Coverage runs from morning preparations through to the first dance, with multi-camera filming to ensure the ceremony and speeches are captured in full. A second videographer joins when logistics call for it, such as separated preparation locations or a particularly packed schedule.
The result is a film that feels less like a highlight reel and more like a keepsake, one that couples can watch back in ten or twenty years and still feel the atmosphere of their day. No forced poses, no clichéd shots, just an honest, beautiful record of the people and relationships that mattered most.
Roxy Weddings is based in Kerry and available for weddings across Ireland, with travel further afield welcome.
