Inn at Dromoland

The Inn at Dromoland is a four-star hotel set within the magnificent Dromoland Estate in Co. Clare, sharing the same extraordinary grounds, landscape, and heritage context as the celebrated five-star Dromoland Castle while offering a more accessible wedding proposition that retains all the grandeur of the estate's setting. The hotel's position within the 450-acre Dromoland demesne means that wedding couples and their guests benefit from the estate's sweeping parkland, its lake, its formal gardens, and the proximity of the iconic castle as a photography backdrop — a combination of assets that few hotels in Ireland can claim. The dedicated team at the Inn works with each couple to craft a celebration that makes the most of this exceptional inherited landscape.

The culinary offering draws on the outstanding natural larder of Co. Clare and the broader Munster region, with Clare's exceptional seafood — the famous Burren oysters, Atlantic fish, and the shellfish of the Shannon Estuary — contributing alongside the premium meats and seasonal produce of the Dromoland estate and its surrounding countryside. Wedding menus reflect a commitment to quality and provenance that is entirely consistent with the standard expected of a property operating within the Dromoland Estate. The leisure facilities of the Inn at Dromoland, including pool and spa services, add further dimensions for guests choosing an extended wedding weekend.

Newmarket-on-Fergus is positioned between Ennis and Limerick city in the heart of Co. Clare, making the Inn at Dromoland highly accessible from both directions and from Shannon Airport, which is less than 15 kilometres away. This proximity to Shannon — with its transatlantic and European connections — makes the Inn particularly well suited to weddings with significant numbers of guests travelling from overseas. For couples who want the grandeur of the Dromoland Estate as their wedding backdrop, combined with the more accessible facilities of a four-star hotel, the Inn at Dromoland delivers an exceptional Clare experience.
