“We celebrated our wedding at The Shearwater Hotel on 4th July 2026, and we’re still not fully over it!! From the very beginning, the team made the whole planning process so easy, which is no small thing when you’re trying to organise a wedding. Every question was answered, every detail was looked after, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. A massive thank you has to go to Chloe, our wedding coordinator. She was brilliant. Calm, organised, patient, super efficient and always on hand when we needed her. She is a credit to the Shearwater Hotel. On the day itself, the staff were fantastic. The hospitality was second to none, and our guests are still talking about how friendly and attentive everyone was. There was great craic from start to finish, and everything just flowed. The food was absolutely top class. A huge thank you to the Head Chef and all the kitchen team. Everything was beautifully presented, delicious, and served piping hot. We’ve accepted that our wedding will forever be remembered as “the one with the unreal beef” The only complaint we had was that people were too full for dessert!! 😂 To everyone at The Shearwater Hotel, thank you for giving us a day we’ll never forget. You looked after us, our families, and our friends so well, and we’ll always be grateful for everything you did to make it so special.
