The Address Cork

The Address Cork — formerly Clayton Hotel Cork City — occupies a distinctive Victorian building on Military Hill in the St Luke's neighbourhood of Cork, a property whose elevated position offers views across the city and whose architectural heritage gives it a character that more modern hotels cannot replicate. The hotel's function suites and ballroom are well equipped for wedding receptions of various sizes, and the city centre location makes it exceptionally convenient for guests arriving by public transport or staying in the many accommodation options that surround it. The dedicated wedding team brings professional organisation and genuine warmth to every celebration hosted at the property.

The culinary offering reflects the exceptional food culture of Cork city and county, with the kitchen team drawing on the outstanding produce available at the English Market, from the Cork harbour's fishing fleet, and from the trusted farm suppliers who make this corner of Munster one of Ireland's finest food regions. Wedding menus are crafted to reflect these strengths, with bold flavours, excellent produce, and generous portions delivered with the confidence of a kitchen that has long experience in large-scale event catering. The bar and lounge areas of the hotel provide comfortable gathering spaces, and the service throughout the day is professionally managed and warmly delivered.

St Luke's is one of Cork's most attractive and characterful neighbourhoods, its streets of Victorian and Edwardian buildings rising above the city's flat central island and offering a perspective on the city that few visitors to Cork's busy core ever discover. The broader city itself — with Shandon, the English Market, Patrick Street, and the superb restaurants and bars of the MacCurtain Street area — provides wedding guests with a richly varied urban landscape to explore. For a Cork city wedding with a hotel of genuine architectural character and a team experienced in delivering excellent celebrations, The Address Cork is a dependable and well-located choice.
