About Brid O'Donoghue Celebrant
Interacting with the wedding couple to create a ceremony that embraces their personality, preferences and beliefs. On your special day, with emotions and nerves running high, I bring a calmness and a spiritual depth to my work. My aim is to create lasting memories with a ceremony as unique as the couple themselves.
Registered with the H.S.E. to carry out Legal Solemnised Wedding Ceremonies, I explain the requirements of a Legal Ceremony verses a Commitment Ceremony.
We then discuss the optional enhancements which match your personality, number of guests and chosen venue. These enhancements can include: Readings and Love stories Handfasting Ribbons Religious options Customs and mythology Sand blending Dedication candle in memory of previous generations or a significant loved one Guest wishes
Once you have made your decisions on your likes and dislikes, I then bring all this information together and create your unique ceremony.
Personal background. Before becoming a celebrant I worked as an Alternative Therapist, and as a Foster Mum. I am an author and have successfully published three books. This skill greatly assists me when creating the wording for your unique occasion.
